Implanon and side effects.?

I am about to get the implanon implant, until my friend said she had horrible side effects, has anyone else had side effects? If so what were they.

3. seriously everyone is different. So just because your friend had side effects, does not mean that you will. I am on my third & i love them. The only side effect that i have is my periods stop all together, but that is fine by me! I do know some people dot like them because of irregular bleeding etc. The only way to know is if you try it. The worst that will happen is you will have to get it removed. I personally think it's worth the risk because you might have no side effects at all & end up with 3 years of worry free contraception. But i love mine & cant picture myself with anything else.
