What birth control pills will help with acne but not make me gain weight?

I want to start taking birth control pills but i've heard that they make you gain weight and i really don't want to but i've also heard some birth control can help with acne so i was just wondering what one would be the best bet. Thanks!

1. not every1 will gain weight on BC every1 is different it will clear up acne though. when i went on BC (yaz) i lost like 10 lbs and when my sister went on it she ended up gainin like 15 so there's no real answer in my opinion
2. Not everybody gains weight on birth control pills. I have heard people say different things about different pills so you would have to try one and see how it goes, that's about all you can do. I have heard good things about Yasmin but a friend of mine didn't like it, so it's a very individual thing. I know some friends who didn't gain weight on pills either. Talk it over with your doctor. Diane 35 is specifically made for acne and it's quite low dose, so you might like to think of that one.
3. okay well deff talk to your doctor bc everyone is different but the one that works for me is OthoTri-CyclenLo.. i haven't gained weight and my face has gotten noticibly clearer! they should help you find which pill is right for you tho and you can tell then that those are the effects that you're looking for in a pill.. good luck : )
4. you gain weight while on the birth control because there is a lot more water retention. believe it or not but most of our weight is water. every medicine is going to have its pros and cons. personally birth controls give me more pros than cons. if ur scared about the weight gain maybe u should start exercising more.
5. Each woman will react differently as far as weight gain on the pill. For me, I had the best luck on Yaz for clearing acne and maintaining my weight. You may also want to try Ortho-Tri-Cyclen. Talk to your doctor to see what the best option for you is. Good luck!
