Do any of you ladies out there use the new birth control IMPLANON?

I'm thinking about switching from pills to IMPLANON. I went to the IMPLANON website and read on how your periods can be unpredictible. Has IMPLANON affected your period? Do you like this new birth control?

1. I just got Implanon last week on Monday. I haven't got my period yet. I really like this new birth control because you don't have to worry about it! The procedure was very quick, a little painful but not that bad. I did get bruising after wards but thats about it. I would really recommend it!
2. I actually had the implanon for about 18mnths and I found it great...I never got a period or any bleeding in that time...but all women are different some have normal periods while others don't stop for a while...my doctor said to me to try to put up with any side effects for 6mnths and then decide whether or not to remove it but I was lucky...
